Bio

Brian Colbeck has over 25 years of experience in public and private global companies serving in senior finance and operational roles for organizations in the software, manufacturing, services and consumer products industries. As a CFO and General Manager, he has impressive accomplishments in technology startups and turnarounds as well as in Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience in driving sales, profit, market share and growth of stakeholder value. Building high-performance teams, leading change, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, revenue recognition and raising debt and equity capital in competitive business environments are also among his strengths, as is reengineering processes to meet rapidly changing business needs and market conditions. Functionally, he has very broad experience in P&L management, SEC Reporting, regulatory compliance, controls, tax, treasury and strategic planning.

 

As the consulting COO at Rolloffs Hawaii, he reorganized the sales departments and increased EBITDA by 16 percent year over year, reversing an 18-month decreasing revenue trend. As the CFO at TuVox, he implemented a restructuring of the company to significantly reduce the cash burn and move the company to profitability for the first time in 10 years, which was achieved within 12 months of the restructuring and led to a successful exit. Brian served as CFO and GM at Thomson Reuter’s Elite division where the organization experienced 200 percent growth in 2 years and improved operating margins from 5 percent to 15 percent while providing significant investment back in to the business. While the SVP Finance, Corporate Controller for McAfee Software, Brian navigated the implementation of the new SOX regulations and implemented the appropriate processes and controls. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration at California State University – Fullerton.
