Key Leadership Accomplishments

  • Generated $110 million in revenues (including $45 million in backlog) and $10 million in realized operating profits within four years of opening the Northwest practice of a start-up accounting and internal audit consulting firm
  • Doubled revenues within 5 years through acquisition and consolidation of three privately-held distribution businesses with operations in 17 Western states
  • Reduced the cash-to-cash cycle of a database marketing and direct mail production firm to 55 days from 110 days while reducing SG&A from 11 percent down to 7 percent, positioning the company for eventual acquisition

Bio

Dan Stull has 30 years of experience serving in operational leadership roles in distribution and professional services businesses. He has helped restructure several companies to help them return to growth and to accelerate their ability to generate positive cash flows. He is an adjunct instructor at the University of Washington’s Master of Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics where he teaches the “Finance and Performance Management” course. Dan has also guided multiple mergers and acquisitions, buying and selling both entire companies as well as individual divisions. He helped a closely held database marketing company, LaserDirect, restructure operations to achieve significant cash flow improvements, then helped launch a national product targeting large channel marketing companies. As COO of fine.com International, he helped position a small internet marketing firm as a fast-growth agency specializing in creating custom websites for the likes of Marriott, Safeway, 20th Century Fox and Windermere Real Estate. As the Managing Director of Jefferson Wells, he grew a four-person finance and consulting practice into a 250+ person operation serving clients such as Boeing, Nordstrom, REI, Starbucks, Expedia, Microsoft and Eddie Bauer, eventually building the largest office in the world for Jefferson Wells. As shareholder and director of PSS, Dan helped acquire and merge three regional distributors of home improvement products and building a fourth distribution center to achieve a dominant 35 percent market share in 17 Western states. As a member of the boards of directors of LaserDirect, Trails.com, VisualCommerce, PSS and multiple not-for-profit entities, Dan helped guide and direct executive teams to achieve strategic goals. Dan holds a BA, Business (Accounting) and an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
