Bio

David has nearly 30 years of progressive financial leadership experience, primarily serving consumer and packaged goods companies including the Kellogg Company, Technicolor Creative Services, The Wonderful Companies, California Dairies, and Filament Brands. He has extensive experience in financial reporting and analytics, strategic planning and budgeting, internal controls and risk management, ERP implementations, and mergers& acquisitions. He is an exceptional leader who drives finance teams to deliver collaborative performance with enthusiasm and integrity.

As CFO of Filament Brands, David restructured the finance department, reducing turnover from 100 percent to normalized levels and revamping all reporting from BoD to departments. He also led this ~$200 million consumer goods company through a successful sale from private equity ownership to a public company – including all SEC filings, due diligence, and transaction support. As CFO of California Dairies Inc., David implemented new systems for increased efficiency, restructuring the finance team and recapitalizing the company’s balance sheet through refinancing and restructuring of more than $500 million in senior and short-term debt and associated interest hedges. As CFO of Technicolor, David reduced headcount and costs while improving company efficiency by creating a consolidated financial service center and combining previous processes and revenue streams for this $800 million business into a cohesive platform. As VP finance of a multi-billion-dollar private consumer goods company, he consolidated accounting systems under one platform, implemented a group-wide consolidation and reporting system, and created a risk management and internal audit function. David has BS degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cincinnati. He is a licensed CPA in the states of California and Washington.
