Bio

Eileen is an independent corporate director and audit committee chair with extensive leadership experience as a CEO, COO, and president. She has a 30-year record of outstanding financial results, service performance, and enhancement of shareholder value in complex and dynamic operating environments. Her career spans both high-growth, emerging companies and large-scale, highly competitive business environments. This has included serving as executive vice president and group CEO for NiSource, Inc., Indiana’s largest investor-owned electric & gas utility; executive vice president and COO for NASDAQ-traded Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises; president of national operations for Verizon; and president and general manager for the Texas wireless region for GTE Corporation.

 

Eileen is an active, transformational leader with demonstrated success in the areas of cost structure reductions, revenue generation, marketing strategy, customer service, and employee engagement. She is experienced in operating company and corporate environments, including those with in-depth regulatory and labor relations. Eileen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration/Finance Degree from the University of Washington Foster School of Business and is a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow. She also completed a year-long fellowship at Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative.
