Key Leadership Accomplishments

James was the lead advisor on the successful restructuring of $411 million in debt for a test and measurement company, securing forbearance agreements with senior lenders. The recapitalization and renegotiated lender agreements reset the company’s financial foundation, providing flexibility to operate with no significant changes in strategic direction and with limited workforce reductions. He also executed on numerous acquisition financings, like the $285 million debt financing in support of a private equity firm’s acquisition of a North American rail and transportation service company. James has extensive experience in executing transactions for companies of all sizes. In addition, he managed a $14 billion loan portfolio with exposure across the manufacturing, mining & metals, aerospace & defense, chemicals, industrial services, logistics, transportation, building products, and automotive sectors.
