Rick developed a financial and sensitivity analysis model used to evaluate business expansion opportunities, which was most recently used to invest $100 million over 5 years to expand into a diabetes A1C management system and app. Rick has integrated financial and accounting operations of two acquisitions, realizing more than half a million dollars in annual synergies. He also partnered with the VP of Purchasing to reduce working capital and increase free cash flows to $30 million.Bio
Richard “Rick” Adams has 25 years of experience serving in financial leadership roles for organizations in the healthcare and manufacturing industries, as well as in public accounting.
As a Senior Finance Executive, Rick works across all levels of an organization to build alliances in order to gain a clear perspective on the organization’s financial needs. He directs his efforts to support and invest in strategic initiatives that promote growth, profitability, and shareholder value. Through collaboration with other senior leaders, Rick prepares, communicates, and executes strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts. To ensure goals are achieved, he measures performance and identifies opportunities to adapt and modify operations in ways that consider existing market conditions.
Rick holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Alvernia University. He’s also a CPA in the state of Pennsylvania (active).
